Very impressed with your new acquistions! Glad you got some cool fruit trees/bushes that you know what they are. Bonus! And you'll be happy with the crowns. My brother is going the seed route with his asparagus. Insane, hehe.

I'm sure you're sore, but glad to be done. And a great day to do it too.

Wow, it all sounds like a lot of hard work. And a lot of tasty fruits. My future bride and I just got back into eating pears. So I was salivating a little while reading about your homegrown pears. If you ever need someone to take a few extras off of your hands, count us in :)

That is so cool, an orchard in a box. You are really lucky to have room to grow all these fruits.

Good to hear the seedlings are doing well now.

My goodness! You were busy today! The strawberry bed looks great. I added a bunch of shredded paper to my compost pile today too - came from the boxes I store my seed potatoes in. It really does compost well and is a great way to dispose of all those "convenience checks" that the credit card companies send in droves.

Glad to hear your leggy seedlings are doing well with a deep tranplanting. I have found that the cole crops benefit from a deep planting anyway - as they tend to want to lay over even in the best of conditions.
